2012, 15 Dec: HEY!? + famiglia gathered to watch Life of Pi because Kamio wanted to watch it desperately. Elie, Mio, Kamio, Touya, Hisana, Feito and Simon attended the outing. This time they even had an unexpected guest: Mio's mother. Hikaru did not attend because she only wanted the book.
The official meeting time was 11.30am at McDonald's. Feito, Simon, Touya and Hisana met at McD on time. Elie, Mio and Kamio did not make it in time because Kamio was late. Kamio actually missed the station she was suppose to drop off due to the newly changed bus route which she didn't know has changed. Around 12++ only they manage to meet up with the others.
Once everyone had showed up, Feito was the first one to buy his meal. One by one, famiglia bought their meal and settled down upstairs in McD. They had a very XE lunch with all those hidden meaning sentences exchanged as their 'side dishes'. The details was not really remembered.
When everyone had finished their meal, famiglia went to meet up with Mio's mother, aunty. Aunty was quite pleased to reunion with the girls who once upon a time like to gather at Mio's house after school. As for the boys, she was happy meeting them for the first time too. The show starts at 1.45pm. One of the members had already bought the ticket before the lunch. However, there were many people watching Life of Pi so they only managed to buy seats in the third row. The screen was very near.
Since they could not afford to buy 3D or 2D tickets, they watched the most common ticket with the cheapest price. Kamio sat beside aunty and Mio while Mio sat beside Elie and Kamio. This meant that Kamio would be entertaining aunty throughout the movie. Throughout the movie, famiglia overlapped the scenes in the movie with similar scenes in anime. There was a scene when Pi screamed in exhilaration in the heavy storm. They linked this with Shion screaming in the heavy storm at his balcony and then he met Nezumi. There was indeed a Nezumi in Life of Pi too. But that poor mouse was eaten by a -I dunno what animal is that-.
That was a 2 hours and 5 minutes show. After the movie, Feito got 'seasick' just by watching those huge waves rolling and hurling in the screen that was right in front of him. Lucky for him that they did not watch 3D on that day. Aunty enjoyed the show too.
They went to Tokyo Street because aunty wanted to buy something. Those two girls (kaichou and fukukaichou) was eaten by Daiso. Once both of them went in, they got out of sight and then stayed in that shop for god knows how many minutes. Feito, Simon, Hisana and Kamio chatted for a while. There was something to discuss about for their coming year-end trip. The boys are going to prepare the food but what if there was only 2 cooking apparatus? There are three of them. So, the girls decided that each boy take turns to be a girl. Feito>>Feiko; Simon>>Salmon; Randy>>Wendy.
It had been quite some time until all of them are finally out of Daiso including aunty. They parted with Mio and aunty for a while. Aunty still wanted to buy some bread. Besides them, the rest of famiglia went to Pavillion food court to have a break.
Everything was quite boring because there was no seats available for all eight of them. All was done was waiting, waiting and waiting until someone found vacant table large enough for 8. Feito and Simon left to buy chatime drinks. But everything became interesting when aunty came back to join famiglia with bags of buns in her hands. She did a little fortune telling of each of us FOC.
The details of the fortune telling was better not written in this blog for individual's privacy. But those words and accurate prediction were surely written down some place in each member's heart as aunty unfolds their future in front of them. It was free of charge after all.
By 7.00pm, the outing ended. Every one went their own way and left. Actually at that moment, Hikaru was nearby them, still stuck in the traffic jam. Of course Feito wanted to see her badly. However, it was not fated for both of them to meet on that day. Feito had to leave already and Hikaru was with her mother. It was impossible to meet officially in any way.
